Discover the endless emotional and physical benefits of laughter and why it truly is the “wonder drug”!
Meet Camilla Jones, the face behind The Feel Good Network. From her childhood on a farm, to raising four sons, to facing illness and near death experiences, Camilla’s wealth of life adventures has provided her with plentiful stories to share. She really has experienced it all – and is adept at capturing the attention of audiences of all ages, lifestyles and occupations.
Her adventure in comedy started on a dare when some friends tempted her to enter a contest in Calgary called “Canada’s Funniest New Comic”. Camilla won her way to the top 3 out of 53 competitors, and has branched out from this experience to focus on providing entertainment for corporate events, conferences, and teaching community learning programs on the power of laughter.
Camilla has a very different outlook on life and a wonderfully weird way of seeing humour in everyday situations. Her humour is mostly observational – she says humans are such peculiar creatures that it would be a shame for us not to poke fun at our strange behaviour and habits. She shares her twisted observations and some personal stories in a variety of talks which help people to see the lighter side, even during dark moments. Her talent for teaching others to take life a little less seriously and discover the “humour attitude” has pushed many people to change their perspective, and improved their family and work environment.
More than just sharing humourous anecdotes, Camilla’s presentations explain why humour is such a powerful tool that can enable us to face challenges, changes and stressful situations. The statement “laughter is the best medicine” goes even further these days!
